I can't wait to become an Aunt again!!!

Okay as I said in previous posts my sister in law Charlsie is pregnant with her first child. I'm so super excited about becoming an Aunt again!!
So, I thought I would post some pics of her and her growing belly!

Finally got her to put down the cake and stand long enough for me to get a kinda nice pic of her, but she was too busy giving Steve a dirty look! lol

I think Steve has a few more months and a few more beers to go to try and catch up!!
So, April 16th we are looking forward to finally meeting and welcoming Addison Sage Hawk to the clan! And I can't wait!!!

Tracy dyed her hair too!!

Okay so it was that time of the month(and no not THAT time) time to get rid of my gray hairs!! Which I seem to have a lot more of now!
I change up the color quite a bit. It's been black, blonde, brown, purple, highlighted, lowlighted, and many many shades of red. This time I decided to go with a nice burgundy color(more cause it covers the grays better!! lol)

It's actually a lot brighter then this. The florescent(is that how you spell it???) lighting in my closet kind of dulls the color.

Yes, I'm in my closet and in my jammies :P

Next time I'm out in the sun I will take a better picture of the color.

Tracy's New hair cut....

Today I woke up and thought UGH my hair is getting a bit wild again! So, out comes my scissors(Yes I always cut my own hair ha ha)
and here is how it turned out.


Very hard to see it in this picture since it's dark in my dungeon. But it seems to frame my face nicely!

I should of took before and after pictures but I totally forgot!! Anyways before this my hair poofed out to about a foot on each side, and that is no joke!
So now I've tamed my beast of a mop and it already feels lighter and looks lots better!!

Brrrrrr It sure has been cold!

Okay, so down here in Tennessee we NEVER get any snow. So, to our surprise the other we woke up with a nice sprinkling of it. Now it wasn't enough to make me all giddy considering I love LOTS of snow. But it was better then nothing!



As you can tell we don't even bring in our outside furniture cause we never get any snow.

This was at 8am, I should of came back an hour later cause there was a ton more snow but I fell back asleep! lol

I wish someone would send me a ton more snow!!!

Uncle Steve's dog, Reba, was really enjoying the snow! All the other dogs wouldn't go out in it! And be with no snow suit type items I headed back indoors and back to my warm bed! lol

Just well you know .. just an entry..

Okay so nothing much has been going on here lately. First week of the new year is the same as any week... Michael back at work, Me back to my housewife duties(ya like that ever stops! lol), the decorations and Holidays are over. Now back to normal and that means boring all week long and counting down the days to the weekends.



Mmm Smarties!!
Okay for all you non-Canadians Smarties are similar to M&M's but much better! Candy coated little chocolates from heaven! ha ha!
I can't get Smarties down here in Tennessee so I have to get my Mother to send me some. Along with Coffee Crisps, Aero bars, Ketchup and All Dressed Chips, and a lot of other stuff I miss from home!
I usually get 2 'Care Packages'(as my Mom calls them) a year. One for Christmas and one when they come down for a visit in the summer. Now the countdown begins for summer to get my next round of goodies!

When you eat your Smarties do you eat the red ones last? Do you suck them very slowly? Or crunch them very fast? Eat that candy-coated chocolate, But tell me when I ask, when you eat your Smarties do you eat the red ones last?

The Smarties jingle! I can remember it from when I was a little kid and still sing it all the time lol Ahhh nice sweet childhood memories! Oh to be a kid again....

Okay.. boring blog, I know! But I have nothing else to blog about right now lol

New Years Eve

New Years Eve!
Poor Michael got stuck working till 11pm and by the time he got home he only had 40 minutes to catch up to us alcoholics! lol
We just normally have a small get together with family and a few friends. This year it was Mike and myself, Sammy, Ashley, Nanny, Uncle Ted and Marcia, Steve and Kim, Jason(cousin) and Brittany(his girlfriend), and our friends Jessica and Brian.

It's always a BYOB party. Except Marcia always brings her homemade Jello Shooters!!
Sooo yummy! The Mello Yello box is full of the little shots of yummy-ness!
You can see mine and Marcia's next shots sitting on the table!!

Kimmy has been under the weather and chose to just have one drink and a few shooters. Hope she is feeling better soon!! I miss my drinking buddy!!!
