Trip to the Aquarium!

They arrived here in Morristown on Wednesday March 18th. On the Thursday we decided to take the kids to the Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg, TN.

Elliott loves to pose for the camera!
God can you say this kid is cute or what??

Mallorie was so excited to go to the Aquarium!

Allison says she was more excited then anyone! lol

Don't they look so happy to be there??

Of course I had to take a picture of the frogs! Wish I could have some of these they are so pretty(but dangerous! lol)

Mallorie in from of the Megaladon Shark jaw.

Saw Shark just hanging out above our heads. The kids loved the moving sidewalk tour of the huge aquarium. Especially all the sharks they have!

Allison never stays still enough to get a good picture! Also mind you the floor was moving below our feet! lol

I just love this shot of all the fish in the big tank.

See again Allison never stands still! lol

We had a great time there. I've been there at least 6-7 times now and it never gets boring. Especially when you have 3 kids who love fish and sharks!

My Family comes for a visit!

As many of you know I am a born and bred Canadian who married a Southern Hick from Tennessee and uprooted myself to the USA. Well usually twice a year my family comes down for a visit(always coinciding with the NASCAR race in Bristol, TN since my Mom, Brother and Sister in Law are HUGE race fans). The next few Blogs are the pictures of stuff we did when they came down.

The Presents I had waiting for the Kids!! It was Christmas in March!

Elliott started in on his gifts as soon as he got here!!

My Mommy! All happy to see me!

Blurry picture of my Brother, Allan. I was still asleep when they first got here and he decided to wake me up by smacking me and yelling "Wake up! Jackass!!" Almost became an only child in that moment!! ha ha!

Allison playing on Uncle Mikey's computer. She is getting so big!

Mallorie! She lost a tooth as you can tell. Can't believe she is 7 years old now! Where does the time go??

Time for a Cat Bath...

Cat Bath Time!
Since Ziggy is an indoor cat and Mike has minor allergy's to cats, we have to give her a bath in some allergy-less shampoo stuff every so often.
I wish Mike was here when I bathed her cause her crying mews are so hilarious it would of been awesome to get it on video!! So, I just snapped a few pictures of her after it was all done.

Mommy why are you so mean and do this to me?? I'm just an innocent lil kitty!

Yes, I'm miserable!! Wouldn't you be if you felt like a drowned rat??

Heheh I Love my cat! And I guess until I have kids of my own you will be stuck with seeing a billion pictures of my cat! lol

Can't sleep so here's a blog entry!

Okay so I can't sleep. Being sick and on some nasty cold meds have me sleepy and hyper all at the same time. So, I figured I would post a blog entry to maybe help me get bored and sleepier!

As I have said before in previous posts I'm gonna become an Aunt again soon, and I'm super excited! This week I started making a cross stitching to give to Charlsie as a gift at the baby shower. I took a few pictures of the process and the finished piece.

The very start. You can almost make out who it is!

Well lookie there! It looks like a Winnie the Pooh head!!

Aww How cute!
All finished with Addison's name on it!

I plan on getting a cute frame to put it in. Charlsie has done the whole nursery in Winnie the Pooh. And I think this will fit in nicely with everything!
Yes, I know I'm uber talented! lol

Random Cat Pictures!!

Well as many know we are down to one animal now. Lady passed away almost 2 years now and Batty-jo is still MIA and it's been over 5 months.
So, our only pet now is our cat Miss Ziggy. I named her Ziggy cause when we first got her she would zig-zag sprint all over the place!
But Ziggy has gotten a ton of nick names from Michael over her short 3 years of life some are so weird that only those who know him and his weird ways would understand. Some of those weird names are: Cat Keekula(like Count Dracula), Keek Olbercat(Name from our favorite news guy, Keith Ollberman), Tweety(which isn't so weird which is weird), and Keeky McBeety(have no clue where this one came from).
It seems like every few months he comes up with some new whacko name for her!
Here is a few random cat pictures of her for you to enjoy :)

Mommy I want some lovin'. Please stop playing on Pogo and play with me!!

Mommy I love sleeping this way! Will you rub my belly?

Mommy, why did you put your hair band on my head? I know I look cute but I do have a cat reputation to think about!!

Ha ha! Just didn't have much to blog about right now. So busy with getting everything ready for my family's visit in a few weeks and for my Sister in law's baby shower I'm throwing on the 28th of this month. So, in a few weeks I will really have something to blog about lol
Til next time :)

Mike and his age lol

Okay, so Michael was getting sick of being "the old guy" and decided it was time to get rid of all the gray hairs. I told him gray hairs on men is a distinguished look. But he disagreed and went and bought some hair dye he he.
It was supposed to be a nice brown color but for some reason it went almost black on him.
Getting him to smile or stay still long enough for me to take a nice picture is a very hard task. But I did manage to find an ok "before" picture and he did allow me to take a few "after" pictures and here they are.

Before(being his mean self ha ha)

After(looking all dark and not gray lol)

He is happy the way it turned out. Personally I think it's a bit too dark. Can't wait for it to calm down a bit and maybe wash out some.

Easy Homemade Pizza.. YUM!

Doesn't that look yummy??

Okay so Michael's favorite food is pizza. He can eat it morning, noon and night!
And he asked me if it was possible for me to make him one(since it was way to late to order one!)
Of course whatever Mikey wants Mikey gets! ha ha

This is the easiest way to make pizza without any muss or fuss! It's a non-yeast pizza and takes no time to make. Give it a try!

--------------------------------------------------------
Recipe:
Ingredients
* 2 cups flour
* 2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 2/3 cup milk
* 1/4 cup salad oil
* 2 tablespoons salad oil
(Or if you use self rising flour.. use it and omit the Salt and Baking powder)

Directions
1. Heat oven to 425°F.

2.Measure ingredients (except 2nd amount of salad oil) into a bowl.

3.Stir vigorously until mixture leaves the side of the bowl. If it's too sticky add small amounts of flour until it's dough like.

4. Gather dough together and press into a ball.

5.Knead dough in bowl 10 times to make smooth then divide dough in half.

6.On lightly floured surface roll each half into a whatever shaped pizza you want.

7.Place on pizza pan.

8.Turn up edges 1/2 inch and pinch.

9.Brush pizzas with remaining 2T of salad oil(I've also used garlic butter and regular butter instead and works just the same even better!)

10.Add toppings and bake for 20-25 minutes or until it looks done.

--------------------------------------------------------

Easy eh? Mike absolutely loves it! I've made this now at least a dozen times!
Give it a try! You can add any type of toppings that you like! If you are adding veggies like onions, green peppers etc I suggest either precooking them in the microwave or frying pan first, unless you like your veggies more raw on the pizza! You can use pizza sauce, Alfredo sauce, BBQ sauce or even your favorite pasta sauce. Next time I'm using taco sauce and taco seasoned meat, Sharp cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and black olives(on Mike's half only cause yuck olives make me gag!! lol)!
