Okay so today was a tiring day. I was off taking a wee nap and then the phone rings. Michael calling from work, which is not unusual cause he calls every so often when work is slow, but today that wasn't the case! Apparently he had somehow hurt his back to the point where he couldn't walk, stand nor sit. His Aunt and Mother who were out running errands at the time went by his work and picked him up and took him to the doctors. After a 2 hour wait(which really isn't that bad I've waited longer but when you are in immense pain it can seem like an eternity!).
The conclusion the doctor has come to is that the crushing of his L1 from the accident is now causing him some problems. Mainly brought on by him just turning at the wrong angle picking up a box at work.
The doctor stuck two needles in his back and gave him some powerful pain killers. Hope you don't mind the butt crack and blurriness of the picture haha.
So, anyways he is still in a bit of pain and is icing his back down every hour. For once he is actually following doctors orders!
I hope he feels better tomorrow!

OUCH! I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope the pain eases up for him soon. Do they think this is going to be a life long issue where it could "flare up" so to speak?
Pain has eased up, thank goodness. Good thing his job is mainly sitting or he would have to be off work for a while. We won't know more about it until he goes to his doctor for his follow-up. But the Steroid and Anti-inflammatory shots did better then the Percocets to relieve the pain. I guess we will just have to wait and see if it was a isolated incident or something that will be something he will have to learn to live with
Back pain is the worst! Give him lots of kisses and keep us updated reg please!
